Flights

If you come with us I guarantee you will enjoy your travels around the USA plus you won’t have to do any switching airlines because for it to be easy there has to be no hassle and we want this to be easy for you. We will be using American Airlines ideal for traveling around America.  

American Airlines will be the airline used for both your flights the number for the flight from Oklahoma to LA is AA424 and then from LA to Rio De Janeiro AA252. The travel day to get from Oklahoma to LA is the 14th June 2014 and the travel day to get from LA to Rio De Janeiro is the 19th June 2014. You will leave Oklahoma at 4:10 PM  And will arrive in LA at 7:40 AM. Then after staying in LA for four days you will leave LA at 2:30 PM and arrive in Rio De Janeiro at 11:22 AM.

For both flights the Smiths won’t be flying in first class or anything, just economy. There will be one stop from Oklahoma to LA in Dallas. there will be two stops on the way to Rio De Janeiro 1 - Miami 2 - Sao Paulo. I’m sure you know this already but if you didn’t you will be going to LA first then to Rio De Janeiro.

For Duty Free People aged 21 and over can bring in 200 Cigarettes or 50 Cigars or 2 Kg of Tobacco also 1 litre of alcoholic drink.(per person). For hand Luggage you are allowed 1 suitcase & 1 personal item. Bags are to measure no more than 45 Linear inches or 14 inches by 9 inches by 22 inches. Bags must 40 pounds or less. The Personal item can’t go over 36 inches (length+width+height).

Some airlines allow the use of cellphones before they take off but cellphones are not to be used during the flight. However they do offer wi-fi for iPODs iPADs etc which can’t be used for calling. American Airlines estimates that the smiths will arrive in LA at around 7:40 AM June 14th 2014 and they estimate that they will arrive in Rio De Janeiro at 11:22 AM.

From Oklahoma to LA it costs $1885.20, but I’m going to half that with Anais so we each pay $942.06. From LA to Rio De Janeiro it costs $4,953.00 But I’m going to half that with Nicolai so we each pay $2,476.00 NZ.
